Today I’ve listened to a great interview of Oksana Zabushko.
Unfortunately, there’s no English subtitles there.
In the interview, she speaks about the western hypocrisy, who behave like ‘take Anne Frank [we don’t care], but we’ll make a cult out of her, make her a museum, and praise her work [posthumously]’.
It’s like, so you think the Academy Award 2023 would go to A House Made of Splinters, right?
No, it would go to a movie about Russian politician instead.
