Questions#
Question: If there are “missed targets,” where is the remaining percentage of hits that is left from the “miss rate”?
Answer:
Let’s look at the example of Kalibr and Kh-101 missiles:
Examples#
3M-14 (Kalibr)#
- Details:
- Launched: 48 missiles
- Intercepted: 34 missiles
- Miss rate: 71%
- Calculation:
- Hit rate: 100 - 71 = 29%
Kh-101#
- Details:
- Launched: 148 missiles
- Destroyed: 126 missiles
- Failed (self-crashed): 1 missile
- Miss rate: 86%
- Calculation:
- Hit rate: 100 - 86 = 14%
